Happy Holidays!!

It has been a long year with ups and downs for many of us! But with Christmas almost upon us and a New Year just around the corner I'm looking forward to the holiday break and a chance to rest and relax with friends. I'm also very excited about what the new year holds, as we have so many wonderful things planned for our store as well as great new furniture and decorating ideas all on their way. Look out for a whole new Aria! My team and I would like to thank you all for your support and loyalty, we have loved working with you all on your homes and in store and appreciate the positive feedback, it means a lot.

Just arrived in store

We have just received our final delivery of bed linen before Christmas, so now is the ideal time to refresh the guest room or add a little luxe to your own bed. From down filled cushions, indulgent comforters to beautiful quilts and summer blankets, all are available today.

This week @ Aria

Move in day to a new home is always exciting for our clients. This week we have been involved with several homes as well as the installation of curtains and blinds on other projects. It is always a relief that everything goes off without a hitch and our furniture arrives safely. Motorised blinds are installed and curtains grace the windows. The finished result is wonderful, but most of all our client's appreciation means a lot to us!! A few more installations to go before Christmas to finish off the year..........

Phoebe at the Marriott

We are very excited to have our Phoebe chair selected to grace the lobby of the Marriott Hotel in Surfers Paradise. After a major renovation the hotel has recently been relaunched. Just beautiful!

Today....

With so much happening in store we are constantly re-merchandising. Today we put together this beautiful new table display of silver and white.

Its starting to look a lot like Christmas

It is starting to look a lot like Christmas (if you can ignore the 30 degrees heat outside). Well the tree is up and it is exciting and a bit scary to think the shopping has started, where has the year gone?

As usual at this time of the year its is all rush to install all the projects we are working on. There are several banquette size dining tables to be delivered, dining chairs still to be upholstered, custom made bed heads to be completed and an array of curtains and blinds for all the different homes to be installed. Will we make it? of course....... we always do! We love this time of year and the joy we create for our lovely clients.

Ralph Lauren Bed Head

There is nothing like a little bit of re-upholstery to refresh and revitalise a room. Today we installed this coastal inspired bedhead and cushions all in a beautiful Ralph Lauren fabric. I love it when a client arrives back to their holiday home to the changes we make.....

We have just installed our latest window display and doesn't it look fantastic!!!

Kitchen installation

I thought I would post images of this sleek kitchen we have just completed for one of our clients. Our team has done an amazing job. From stripping the old standard county style look to the installation of this new contemporary inspired design. We are now working towards the completion of the adjacent dining and family rooms in time for Christmas. White Malawi chairs, sparkling crystal chandeliers and tribal art are all planned, so its a very exciting project. I will share the images soon with you all!!

Classic Blue & White

It seems our customers never get tired of blue and white! We have just unpacked another delivery with more blue and white ceramics including some stunning ginger jars. Our Ralph Lauren custom-made cushions are also back in stock along with a good selection of wicker storage baskets and trays.

Exhibiting

We have just hung the most amazing collection of African and Indian tribal art. Based on a bold geometric theme, these strongly textured pieces will add impact to any room!

New from Theo & Joe Designer Collection

It is always exciting to receive beautiful new things! Today between all the rushing around we managed to unpack our latest delivery of cushions from the Theo & Joe Designer Collection. I love the script design with its hit of colour in either red or blue. All cushions are now available at Aria Home.

Beautiful Bed Linen

We have just received our new beautiful bed covers in store. As part of our own Aria collection the first two designs are available in either an off white circle design with fawn toned centre stitching while the other design is in a natural linen finish, completed with scalloped edge detail and quilting. Both designs have matching pillow slips to complete the look.

New Instore!!

After a very successful sale we have been busy all weekend unpacking box loads of new and exciting stock. I have to say I am a little tired and with several homes receiving furniture packages, curtains and the "Aria Styling Treatment" this week, there will be certainly no chance to rest!!
Over the weeks ahead we will be busy unpacking several new containers from our travels. I'm really excited about some of the fabulous furniture pieces, cushions and linen.

Cushions Galore

Aria Home has always been recognised for our fantastic cushion collections and our latest addition is no exception. My favourite would have to be the Navy Suzani, with its velvet detail and hand stitched buttons. Our Cuba collection which is available in Natural and Duck Egg Blue has now been extended to include a fresh Lime in Velvet, perfect for summer inspiration.

Crazy times

It has been a crazy crazy two weeks since I last posted!!
With our store having a massive sale to make space for all the new products we have on the way, we have been busy wrapping and delivering so many pieces for our great customers. It is amazing how far people will travel for a bargain with some customers taking the hour (or longer) drive from Brisbane to secure their favourite piece. Over the next few weeks our sale will wind down as we start to unpack and prepare for all the exciting new pieces we have sourced. For those that cannot make it in store our online shopping has been updated to reflect the wonderful value we are committed to offering.

Designers Guild @ Aria Home

Inspired by the luscious images of the pink and white bedroom setting by Designers Guild, we have manufactured this stunning blanket box for one of our favourite clients. After completing the bedroom several months ago with striped wallpaper, bone inlay tables and wrap around sheers the blanket box was the final piece to finish the room. Our upholsterer has done a wonderful job of placing the flower across the top and down the front. Just beautiful!

Massive Warehouse Sale

With the eminent arrival of several new containers of goodies, we have spent the last few days clearing out our warehouse to make room for the exciting new collections that are on their way. We have stacked the showroom with discontinued lines, ex display pieces, rugs, lighting, furniture and much more. Many of these pieces are at least 50% off their original price. Rushing around!

Just when I thought I was organised everything seems to go crazy….... This week we have been busy having furniture lifted up the side of a high rise building in Main Beach (who designed those ridiculously small lifts that never seem to fit any worthwhile furniture?). After a couple of stressful hours everything is all in place much to our and the client's relief.

We have also been busy completing several projects including a gorgeous pair of children’s bedrooms in pink and blue which I hope to photograph shortly and share with you. I am also looking forward to starting two new projects which is always very exciting.

You would think with so much happening as well as many new pieces coming and going from our store I would not be considering an overseas trip but have decided to squeeze in buying trips to both Thailand and Hong Kong in the weeks coming.

I love it when a client selects one of my favourite wallpapers........ This Ralph Lauren design has transformed the living space, we have added custom made cushions to the large sofa and completed the room with the installation of sleek shutters.
